To obtain your MSc, you are required to study six modules, each worth 15 UK credits; one module worth 30 UK credits; and another module worth 60 UK credits, totalling 180 UK credits.

Students will study six modules worth 15 UK credits, one module worth 30 UK credits, and another worth 60 UK credits. This programme has 180 UK credits in total.

  • Leadership and Management Development (15 UK credits) 
  • Leading, Managing and Developing People (15 UK credits) 
  • Managing Employment Relations (15 UK credits) 
  • Coaching & Mentoring (30 UK credits) 
  • Leading Organisation Design & Development (15 UK credits) 
  • Developing Skills for Business (15 UK credits) 
  • Research Methods, Professional Development, and Dissertation/Project (60 UK credits) 
  • 2:2 or above from a UK Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualifications.
  • International requirements - an English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

Non-standard applicants are welcome to apply for the postgraduate programmes offered by De Broc School of Business.

Scenario 1

Applicants possessing an undergraduate degree below 2.2 (3rd or ordinary) should have the following:

  • A professional qualification at level 6 or above from a business professional body, e.g. CIM, CMI, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPD, etc.

OR

  • At least 2 years of proven work experience at the middle or senior management level within an organisation. They should be working or have recently left work. Applicants returning to work, but with the appropriate work experience, will also be considered.

Scenario 2

Non-standard applicants without an undergraduate degree should have the following:

  • A professional qualification at level 6 or above from a business professional body, e.g. CIM, CMI, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPD, etc.

AND

  • At least 3 years of proven work experience at the middle or senior management level within an organisation. They should be working or have recently left work. Applicants returning to work, but with the appropriate work experience, will also be considered.

Student Loans Company Postgraduate Loans Schemeread more

In 2016, the SLC is launching a postgraduate loan of up to £10,000 towards your study costs. You will be able to apply for this loan over the summer of 2016 if you meet the personal eligibility criteria and study on a Masters course at De Broc School of Business. The loan will be paid to you directly in three instalments during each academic year of the course.

If you have secured a UK Government loan, you need to provide us with a copy of your University and College Payment Advice letter and confirm your individual Student Support Number in order for the initial loan payment to be released from the SLC.

If you’re unable to provide this notice from the SLC during or before induction, any agreed loan payment will not be released into your bank account.

Student Finance England (SFE)read more

Online students studying with De Broc School of Business who reside in the UK are able to access a tuition fee loan from Student Finance England (SFE). We recommend that you apply early for SFE support to ensure that your funding is in place at the start of your programme of study.

Once your loan has been confirmed, SFE will send you a Financial Notification letter showing that you have been approved for a tuition fee loan for your programme of choice.
