Our online dual degree in Finance and Investment (Accounting and Financial Management) gives you the opportunity to gain a Master of Arts and Master of Science degree through just one programme of study.

Preparing you for a successful career across a variety of financial industries, this dual master’s programme is suitable for graduates, professionals, and senior level managers who are looking to gain expertise in the management of accounting and finance activities.

Your dual online degree will help you develop strategic problem solving skills in key areas, including business and financial analysis, quantitative methods and financial markets, corporate finance, and advanced corporate reporting. On graduation you’ll receive an MA degree from the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and an MSc degree awarded by Geneva Business School.

The next intake for this programme is October 2016, and you can compete your studies in a minimum of 18 months. The programme will start with core and elective/specialist modules, followed by the Integrative Research and Consultancy Project and the dissertation as a final assignment. Throughout your studies, you will be supported with comprehensive study materials and online tools made available through your InterActive account. After successful completion of the programme you will be awarded with an MA in Finance and Investment degree awarded by the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and an MSc in Finance and Investment degree awarded by Geneva Business School.

To qualify for the programme, please make sure you satisfy all entry requirements and submit all necessary documentation.

Once enrolled, you will gain access to our Canvas learning management system. Each module is taught through:

  • HD-quality video lectures complete with supplementary learning materials.
  • Discussion questions allowing you to approach specific tasks related to case studies.
  • Online libraries and databases containing useful research resources.

The programme is divided into two parts – core and elective/specialist modules, as well as the Integrative Research and Consultancy Project. There are 3 core modules and you will begin by studying one at a time. After completion of the core subjects you will progress onto 3 elective/specialist modules. Successful completion of the first part will allow you to start work on the Integrative Research and Consultancy Project. You will have 20 weeks to complete this module, including a dissertation and number of formative assignments. A senior member of the academic staff will supervise and guide you through the project.

The MSc and MA in Finance and Investment (Accounting and Financial Management) syllabus gives you up-to-date knowledge blended with hands-on experience, as well as the expertise to make vital strategic decisions in an ever changing business environment. Academic entry requirements:

  • UK undergraduate degree or equivalent (any class, any subject are).
  • Applicants who do not meet the stated entry requirements may apply via our Mature Route. You will be asked to provide evidence of three year’s managerial work experience, plus transcripts of your highest qualifications achieved to date. Applications via this route are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

English language requirements:

  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or
  • high school in English or
  • bachelors completed in English or
  • ACCA/CIMA 14 papers completed
  • 2 years of work experience in an English speaking environment (upon approval by admissions board)

Reference letters

Reference letters submitted for admissions board review should be as per the below format and contain the information listed:

  • Student’s full name
  • The student’s position, and title within the company (at least two years relevant work experience at management level)
  • The exact period over which student worked for the company, and details about responsibilities held (including how many people the candidate was responsible for)
  • Details about the candidate’s personal qualities
  • The name, signature and position of the referee and their contact details (the referee must be somebody with a high position in the company such as director, manager etc.)
  • Reference letters must be on letter-headed paper, stamped and dated (no older than six months)
