Alena-Walker"What I like the most is that it is easy to access the videos and since you have two options, high and low quality, you can literally view them everywhere. It’s a comfortable platform, it’s convenient. The tutors are good, the videos are good quality, the notes are clear, is easy to follow. I feel I prepare very well for every exam. The teachers have been helpful and the price is very good. In a nutshell, InterActive is High Quality Videos + Excellent tutors + very convenient. "

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) qualification is the gold standard for working in the financial sector. It will give you instant recognition in the finance industry, significantly enhancing your career prospects and credibility. InterActive offers online CFA® course on your terms from expert CFA® ‘charterholders’, whose global network you will join upon completing the qualification.

InterActive brings the classroom to you, allowing you to study and prepare for CFA® examinations anywhere and at any time. You will learn how to evaluate investments and make sound financial judgments in preparation for successful examinations and an exciting career in finance.

Who is this programme for?

The CFA® online programme’s focus is on fundamental investment knowledge and practical ideas which are applicable across a variety of careers. If you are already active in the investment industry and want to specialise, refocus your speciality or just earn more prestige with your employer, then the CFA® programme is perfect for you. It complements your practical experience with relevant knowledge and a broad range of skills to help further your career.

Professionals working outside of the investment industry, such as solicitors and accountants, also stand to benefit from CFA® certification. Indeed, many take the CFA® course in order to broaden their professional expertise.

Benefits

CFA® takes your career to the next level; employers recognise CFA® certification as an effective standard in choosing the most qualified, up-to-date and determined job applicants. They understand that the CFA® programme provides the necessary tools for demonstrating commitment, flexibility, hard work and success in high-pressure workplaces. Moreover, employers cite the wide scope of knowledge held by CFA® accredited applicants as the primary reason for hiring them. They understand, as does InterActive, that CFA® charterholders develop diverse perspectives on investment and a thorough knowledge of the global marketplace.

It increases your earning potential; the CFA® Society of Seattle found in a study that in 2009, CFA® charterholders with less than a year of experience earned an average salary of $51,282.Those with one to four years of experience earned an average of $62,567 and those with five to nine years earned $90,335 annually. The mean income for those who had 10 to 19 years’ experience was $121,017 and the highest average salary was earned by charterholders with more than 20 years of experience, at $149,017.

In order to receive CFA® qualification, you have to pass three levels – Level I, Level II and Level III sequentially. You will take exams for each at CFA® centres and exams for Level I are held in June or December, while those for Levels II and III are held only in June.

You may register for only one exam at a time and must wait to receive the results for one exam before registering for another. Check that you meet all requirements before you enrol on the CFA® program and register for your first exam.

You can apply for your exams, which will be held either in December or June (depending on the level). You must apply to study CFA® program with InterActive 3-9 months before you are due to sit your exams (at the latest). To apply, simply choose a CFA® package of the required level from the Enrolment centre and pay for it.

You will receive an email containing your InterActive login details 24 hours after payment. You will then be able to study towards your paper according to the content of the package you purchased. At the start of your CFA® preparation you will be given access to all learning tools included in your package, such as live or recorded HD quality video lectures, lecture notes and other study materials, mock exams, question bank, progress tests and other. The recommended study time for each exam is at least 3 months.

Finally, you take your exams and if you pass you will continue to the next level. However, if you fail you are encouraged to re-take the exam. If you fail but are eligible for the Pass First Time Guarantee, you will get access to study materials for the level you failed and can re-sit it once you re-register.
