IPAD Related Terms and Conditions

Offer is only valid while stocks last, call for details. iPad is a trademark of Apple Inc, registered in the U.S. and other countries. E&OE. Students eligible for a free iPad under this offer can collect it free of charge at any LSBF campus in the UK (London, Birmingham, Manchester) by prior appointment or alternatively have it shipped to them for a P&P charge of £25 (UK) / £35 (EU) / £50 (Rest of the world). Any duties, customs charges and taxes associated with receiving the iPad shall be the sole responsibility of the student. Please allow 6-8 weeks for shipping. There is no cash alternative and students not able to pick up in person and not interested to P&P charge will waive their eligibility under this offer. iPad is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

General Terms and Conditions

InterActive Pro Limited, T/A London School of Business & Finance, name used under license Registered office: Belmont House, Station Way, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 1JA Registered in England No. 06588211 ("InterActive Pro").

Distance, Blended and E- Learning Courses:

  1. All amounts are quoted in Pounds Sterling and include VAT (where applicable).
  2. InterActive Pro Limited reserves the right to charge interest at 10% per annum on overdue amounts, which will be charged on all accounts more than 7 days overdue.
  3. All fees exclude amounts payable to any professional bodies for student registration, exemptions and examination entries, which are payable by the students (and/or their sponsors, as applicable) and InterActive accepts no responsibility for this. Certain packages which include hard-copy study manuals may incur shipping charges which are additional to the course fees. In case of international delivery, the student is solely responsible for any customs, duties and local taxation which may be imposed.
  4. Any refund made by InterActive will be paid to the original payer using the original method payments.
  5. All deposits received are for the sole purpose of reserving a course place and are non-refundable, save as provided otherwise in these Terms and Conditions.
  6. Funds received but not utilised or refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be forfeited to InterActive Pro Limited.
  7. InterActive reserves the right to alter published programmes, change- tutors, course specifications, to cancel or change the content of lectures and/or study materials, and to alter dates and locations from the previously published materials.
  8. All courses are non-residential unless specified otherwise.
  9. Students are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner which demonstrates respect for InterActive and its staff, fellow students and property (whether tangible or intangible). Breaches of the Student Code of Conduct and individual programme regulations can amount to gross misconduct, which may lead to expulsion from study, and forfeiture of all fees.
  10. Liability of InterActive Pro Limited for losses arising from their negligence (except in the case of liability for death or personal injury), breach of contract or otherwise will be limited to the full amounts paid by the relevant student for the particular courses and/or study materials. Except in the case of liability for death and personal injury, the company will have no liability for indirect or consequential loss or damage.
  11. Students' arrangements with InterActive Pro Limited are governed by English law.
  12. Distance, blended and e-learning amounts quoted include VAT (where applicable) but exclude any taxes or duties imposed by countries outside the UK/EEA.
  13. Unless a student opts for an instalment plan and pays in full the deposit and first instalment amount, full payment is required prior to dispatch of study materials or release of online user IDs and passwords.
  14. A deferral can be processed up to one future intake (one year) if InterActive is notified in writing in advance. An administration charge of £50 (inc. VAT) will be invoiced by InterActive and are to be paid before a deferral can be processed.
  15. In order to comply with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, students will be entitled to a full refund if they notify InterActive of their desire to cancel within 7 days of registration and payment. This provision is subject to the student not using the online study platform for more than 30 minutes.
  16. 16. Course registration and fees, login credentials and course materials are non-transferable between students.
  17. Student access to each individual paper materials on professional courses is for the duration of one semester, i.e., from the time of registration until the next exam sitting. On CBE papers, access is limited to a duration of maximum 6 months. After the exam sitting or the expiry of a 6 months period from the day of registration (whichever comes first) student access to study materials will expire. For the avoidance of doubt, for students on packages of multiple papers, this term applies only to papers selected for study at a given study period, while credits for papers paid for but not yet accessed will be maintained.
  18. Fair usage policy applies to access of study material, including study videos. InterActive reserves the right to restrict access based on operational requirements (including bandwidth consumption) to ensure fair access to all students.
  19. All Applications for refunds must be made via our online channel. Students must submit a ticket at http://livesupport.lsbf.org.uk. Applications for refunds which are not submitted in accordance with the above will not be considered.

User Agreement

Welcome to the InterActive Pro Limited site ("InterActive Site"). InterActive Pro Limited ("InterActive Pro") is part of the InterActive family of educational companies. Please read this User Agreement carefully because by visiting or using the InterActive Site, you agree to be legally bound by and comply with its terms. Governing Law

This User Agreement is governed by the laws of the England and Wales. You irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and waive any objection to such forum.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend the InterActive Site or terminate this User Agreement at any time without notice for any reason, including, in the case of the User Agreement, for your violation of any of its provisions. The Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability and Governing Law sections of this User Agreement shall survive any such termination.

InterActive Deferment Policy

We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond students' control can affect a student's ability to study. Therefore, our deferment policy stipulates the terms and conditions according to which a student may defer their enrolment to the following exam sitting.

The deferment policy is meant to address the requirements of students faced with unexpected circumstances and is separate from InterActive's Pass First Time Guarantee policy, which is governed by a separate set of terms and conditions.

  1. Once a student is enrolled on an ACCA course and has begun his/her studies (i.e., accessed the online study platform for more than 30 minutes in total, and/or placed an order for the delivery of books) no deferment is allowed, unless the student qualifies as per the terms and conditions set below.
  2. Students who have purchases an ACCA course for a particular exam sitting may defer their study and retain a credit for future study on an identical study package in case they have not begun their studies (e.g, accessed the online study platform for more than 30 minutes in total, and/or placed an order for the delivery of books). Applications for deferral must be made via our online channel. Students must submit a ticket at http://support.studyinteractive.org. Applications for a deferment which are not submitted in accordance with the above will not be considered.
  3. Students who have commenced their studies (e.g, accessed the online study platform for more than 30 minutes in total, and/or placed an order for the delivery of books) may only defer at the discretion of InterActive Pro Limited, upon submission of supporting documentation regarding extenuating circumstances (e.g., illness). Our decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding discretionary deferment applications.

Pass First Time Guarantee Terms and Conditions

  1. Pass First Time Guarantee allows qualifying students to receive a free access to Study materials for ACCA/CIMA papers they purchase through InterActive platform till their next examination sitting.
    This offer is only available for students buying one of the following ACCA or CIMA packages:
    1. ACCA: Tuition
    2. ACCA: Advanced Live Tuition
    3. ACCA: Tuition + Advanced Live Revision
    4. ACCA: F4 RUS Gold
    5. ACCA: F6 RUS Gold
    6. CIMA: Tuition
  2. Students must comply with the Pass First Time Guarantee procedure outlined below. Students who fail to comply with this procedure will not be able to benefit under this scheme and thus will not be entitled to get any benefits under Pass First Time Guarantee. To be eligible for participation in the Pass First Time Guarantee students must:
    1. - Purchase one of the packages specified in the 1st paragraph;
    2. - Access at least 90% of online materials available on the platform for this package;
    3. - Attempt and score at least 75% on all Quick Tests on the InterActive platform;
    4. - Pass the mock exam conducted by InterActive with at least 55%; and
    5. - Sit real ACCA/CIMA examinations for no more than 3 exam papers per exam sitting, and fail
  3. All course fees must be paid in full before real examinations are taken. Claims under the Pass First Time Guarantee must be received by InterActive a maximum of one month after exam results have been released.
  4. Where a student has failed an examination, they must provide proof of that failure on their application for a Pass First Time Guarantee. Applications for a Pass First Time Guarantee must be made via our online channel. Students must submit a ticket at http://support.studyinteractive.org. Applications for a Pass First Time Guarantee which are not submitted in accordance with the above will not be considered.
  5. Students who are eligible to participate in the Pass First Time Guarantee , shall be entitled to receive access to Study materials for failed papers on InterActive platform, from the date of the failure of such exam until the next examination sitting. For the avoidance of doubt, after that point the Pass First Time Guarantee will lapse. This Guarantee is not transferable. No refunds or compensations are made under First Time Pass Guarantee.

Ultimate Confidence Booster Terms and Conditions

  1. This offer is available only for students buying one of the following packages:
    1. ACCA: Tuition
    2. ACCA: Advanced Live Tuition
    3. ACCA: Tuition + Advanced Live Revision
    4. CIMA: Tuition
    Ultimate Confidence Booster is available at the price of £50 per paper in addition to one of these packages at the point of purchase. Ultimate Confidence Booster allows qualifying students to get a complete refund of their payment for these packages if they fail their ACCA or CIMA real examination.
  2. Students must comply with the Ultimate Confidence Booster procedure outlined below. Students who fail to comply with this procedure will not be able to benefit under this scheme and thus will not be entitled for a refund.
  3. Those students who book one of packages outlined in the 1st paragraph must:
    1. - Access at least 90% of online materials available on the platform for this package;
    2. - Attempt and score at least 75% on all Quick Tests on the InterActive platform;
    3. - Pass the mock exam conducted by InterActive with at least 55%; and
    4. - Sit real ACCA/CIMA examinations for no more than 3 exam papers per exam sitting, and fail
  4. All course fees must be paid in full before real examinations are taken. Claims under the Ultimate Confidence Booster must be received by InterActive a maximum of one month after exam results have been released.
  5. The Ultimate Confidence Booster only entitles qualifying students for a refund of fees actually paid for the qualifying course(s). No other benefits or compensation is provided. Ultimate Confidence Booster is not transferable.
  6. In the circumstances where a student has failed an examination, they must provide proof of that failure on their application for a Ultimate Confidence Booster refund. Applications for Ultimate Confidence Booster refund must be made via our online channel. Students must submit a ticket at http://support.studyinteractive.org. Applications for a Ultimate Confidence Booster refund which are not submitted in accordance with the above will not be considered. Refund payments will be made using the original payment method and back to the original payee only. Payments will be issued within 28 days of the receipt of a complete application.

ACCA Electronic Materials, E-Revision Kits, E- Pass Cards and E-Books

By purchasing any of the ACCA Electronic Materials, E-Revision Kits, E- Pass Cards or E-Revision Cards and E-Books, students acknowledge that they are not available for printing.

Should students require printed versions of the aforementioned materials, they are advised to purchase Hard Copies available at http://ia.shop.studyinteractive.org/acca/ in the study materials section.
