The course duration for the MSc in Strategic Business Management for online students is one year – two semesters, and a dissertation period in the summer. Students will study six modules totalling 180 credits – three worth 30 credits each, two worth 15 credits, and one worth 60 credits.

The Global Business Strategy and Leadership module of your course will train you in international corporate strategy and leadership, and the ethical design and execution of business strategy. You will also examine the poignant concepts, theories and frameworks that will equip you with the competence to lead and define strategic decision making processes for global business operations.
The Management of Business Operations module of your course investigates the implementation of intercultural operations management strategies across businesses and markets around the world. To accompany your new managerial skills, you will train and use the information technology tools and packages that will aid your research and performance in real-world scenarios.
The International Marketing Leadership module of your course will comprehensively train you in the theory and practical competencies required to investigate, comprehend and innovate effective global marketing strategies relating to a firm’s strategic corporate and business intent. You will research and evaluate the relevant data in order to responsibly predict future trends and emerging patterns in global business, and learn how to ensure the longevity of your firm’s market success.
The Financial Information for Business Decisions module of you course will equip you with the key theoretical concepts and practical skills in accounting and corporate finance in order to accurately evaluate how businesses are financed. You will profit from understanding of the use of financial information for future business decision making. In addition, you will be required to evaluate the main financial and business problems facing modern financial managers in a changing economy.
The research method and dissertation module carries 60 credits - the most credits out of all modules that you will study. You will learn the theory and practical research skills to critically evaluate business issues and activities in a real-world professional context by specialising in a topic of your choosing.
